Superb, important and rare 16th or 17th carving of a wyvern

  
I bought this carving about 23 or 24 years. I have loved it but we have moved into a new house and I have to part with some things. It has a wonderful confidence and energy in the carving. Wyverns were traditional English or Welsh two-legged dragons with a barbed tail. A really superb early carving.

The cost is high because of the value of the item.
