Superb Aesthetic Sterling Dandelion Fish Server Set by Whiting ca-1870 RARE. Offered for sale is this superb, very RARE, solid sterling silver Aesthetic fish slice and fork server set in the Dandelion pattern by Whiting. This huge Aesthetic movement set of servers was crafted ca-1870.

This gorgeous set is in excellent antique condition with no dents or dings. The pattern is sharp and crisp. There is a period mono on as shown.

13" long by 2 1/4" wide, the fork meas. 9 1/4" long by 2 1/4" wide. They are superbly crafted of a heavy gauge of sterling weighing in at 334+ grams for the pair. In excellent antique condition with fine age old patina having never been machine buffed. This great set of servers will make a very welcome addition to any advanced collection of very scarce mid nineteenth century Aesthetic American silver.
