Brass bar in lower part to hold umbrellas or canes. Removable drip pan -- appropriately in the form of a shell. Lower portion gracefully flares out in wings.
No signature -- probably American, English or French. It is in very good antique condition. Minimal wear commensurate with age and gentle use. Minimal paint loss -- commensurate with age and use. Please note one ball missing on left exterior side (arabesque) near top.A very impressive piece measuring 78 tall (in full height). The base measures 32" across and the top measures 30" across.
